Katie Stuart is a Canadian actress and stunt performer born in Vancouver. She began appearing in front of the camera as a child and quickly established herself as a memorable young actress.

Fans of Stargate SG-1 know her best as Cassandra, the orphaned girl rescued by the SG-1 team. Cassandra gradually developed a very close relationship with Samantha Carter, who, together with Dr. Fraiser, became a surrogate family for her. The relationship between Cassandra and Samantha remains one of the most emotional storylines in the series and makes Cassandra one of the most beloved child characters in the entire franchise.

As a young actress, she also appeared in the television film A Wrinkle in Time, where she played the lead role of Meg Murry. She also had one of the main roles in the series The Crow: Stairway to Heaven, where she portrayed Sarah Mohr. Another of her better-known roles was the mutant Kitty Pryde in X-Men 2.

In later years, she appeared as Zoe Monroe in the popular series The 100.
