Biography
JOHN MORRIS (voice actor; USA)
Guest appearance: Saturday 14. November - Sunday 15. November 2026
John Morris is an American voice actor. Born and raised in California, Morris graduated from San Francisco University High School in 2003 and later earned a degree from the UCLA School of Theater, Film & Television in 2007. He currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Morris was cast as Andy Davis in 1993 while auditioning for Pixar’s very first Toy Story film. During the audition, he reportedly entertained the Pixar team by bringing along his X-Men action figures and performing voices for them, which helped him land the role. He later returned as Andy in Toy Story 2.
Years later, director Lee Unkrich personally requested Morris’s return for Toy Story 3. At the time, the filmmakers were concerned whether his voice would still fit the character after so many years, but those fears disappeared the moment Unkrich heard Morris’s voicemail greeting. Morris went on to voice the older version of Andy in both Toy Story 3 and Toy Story 4.
In addition to Toy Story, Morris also briefly voiced Santa Boy in The Nightmare Before Christmas.
