HWANG SU IL (sportsmam; Japan)

Japanese ITF taekwondo fighter and model for the character Hwoarang from the popular game TEKKEN will be part of this year's Comic-Con Brno & Junior program.

HWANG SU IL holds a 7th dan in ITF taekwondo and is a five-time world champion in sport fighting. He is the coach of the Japanese national ITF taekwondo team, which won 6th place overall at the recently concluded world championships.

In the 1990s, Master HWANG SU IL was the inspiration for the iconic kicking character Hwoarang, whose kicks were transferred to the TEKKEN game using motion mastering.

You can see the Japanese master's fabulous kicking techniques, which he still demonstrates today at the age of 55, with your own eyes this weekend in Brno – at the @Český svaz taekwon-do ITF stand at Comic-Con Brno & Junior, where he will be part of an ITF taekwondo demonstration. And then at the fabulous BUDOSHOW, which will take place in Brno on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Hwang Su Il will have an exhibition at the Taekwon-do stand on the ground floor on Saturday, November 1, starting at 4:30 p.m.
