Predrag Bjelac is a Serbian actor who also resides in Czechia. He graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts at the University of Belgrade and spent a year studying acting at an institute in the United States. He began his acting career in his native Yugoslavia, where he remains one of the leading figures in television and film.

His most internationally recognized role came in 2005, when he portrayed the headmaster of the Durmstrang Institute, Igor Karkaroff, in the fourth installment of the Harry Potter film series, HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE. He also appeared in other American productions, including THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: PRINCE CASPIAN, EUROTRIP, and the remake of the classic film THE OMEN.

Czech audiences know him best from the films GANGSTER KA and GANGSTER KA: THE AFRICAN, in which he played one of the most memorable characters in the story, Dardan. Another standout performance was his role as “Chřestýš” (Rattlesnake) in the film RO(C)K PODVRAŤÁKŮ.

His star continues to shine in television, with significant roles in Czech TV series such as DUCH, CIRKUS BUKOWSKY, RAPL, BODYGUARDI, SLUNEČNÁ, and more.
