PETER WILLIAMS (actor; Jamaica)

Peter Williams is a Jamaican-born Canadian actor. Most of his work relates to television, and he became best known as the main villain Apophis in the series STARGATE SG-1 and the movie STARGATE: CONTINUUM. He also appeared on the big screen in films such as THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK and CATWOMAN.

In 1995, two years before the premiere of Stargate SG-1, Williams starred in the film JUNGERGROUND, where he appeared alongside other actors from the Stargate universe: Torri Higginson (Elizabeth Weir), J. R. Bourne (Martouf), and Lexa Doig (Dr. Lam).

Throughout his career, he has also guest-starred in several well-known television series, including MACGYVER, THE X-FILES, DUE SOUTH and THE EXPANSE, demonstrating his versatility and ability to succeed in a variety of genres.

In 2007, he played the lead role of Gene Wright in the film A WINTER TALE, directed by Frances-Anne Solomon.
