Patrick Gibson is an Irish actor known for a variety of roles across film and television, most notably DEXTER: ORIGINAL SIN, THE OA and SHADOW AND BONE.

Having accumulated a list of impressive credits since 2009, Gibson was recognizable from a range of small yet visible roles in series such as THE TUDORS, PRIMEVAL and NEVERLAND. In 2016, whilst studying Philosophy at Trinity College in Dublin, Gibson was cast in the role of Steve Winchell in THE OA, a role which saw the young actor decide to place his studies on hold.

Gibson has not looked back since, and has appeared in films such as IN A RELATIONSHIP, THE DARKEST MINDS and TOLKIEN. His television credits also include THE WHITE PRINCESS and BEFORE WE DIE.

In 2023 Gibson officially joined the cast of SHADOW AND BONE on Netflix as it entered its second season, portraying fan-favorite character Nikolai Lantsov, also known as Sturmhond. Gibson also appears as Paul Carpenter in Australian film THE PORTABLE DOOR.

Most recently, Patrick can be seen in the titular role of Dexter Morgan in Showtime’s prequel DEXTER: ORIGINAL SIN. Portraying a younger version of the fan-favorite tv serial killer, Gibson has received overwhelming praise for his performance – able to capture the original essence of the character, whilst also adding his own spin on the character.

In addition to that, Patrick Gibson has become the brand-new face and voice of young James Bond in the highly anticipated video game 007: FIRST LIGHT, taking on the role of the legendary secret agent in his formative years.
