Puppet exhibition

A unique exhibition marking the 150th anniversary of the birth of Bohumil Schweigstill (1875–1964). Author of a thousand fairy tales, creator of the boy character Kašpárek, and an important figure in Czech puppetry who has been unjustly forgotten. Puppetry has deep roots in our country – from the national revival through 19th-century family theaters to the inclusion of Czech puppetry on the UNESCO list (2016).
