VLADIMÍR POLÁK (actor; Czechia)

He is a theatre and film actor, comedian, presenter and politician. He graduated from the Janáček Conservatory in acting. After graduation, he got a job at the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre, where he has been working in the ensemble ever since. He won the Czech Theatre Award for the best male role in Mein Kampf, where he portrayed Adolf Hitler.

From 2002 to 2010 he was a member of the city council of the Moravská Ostrava and Přívoz district.

Since 2016 he has joined the improv show Tři tygři. He also frequently appears in plays of the Mír Theatre, such as Lakomec, Dva nazí muži and Kdo je pan Schmitt. You could also see him in several films such as Ostravak Ostravski or The Princess Stranded in Time. He also appears a lot in Czech Television projects.

He plays piano, guitar and ukulele. His favourite sports are football and sport shooting.
