Klára wrote comics for magazines such as Mateřídouška, Čtyřlístek, Sluníčko, and Tečka. Currently, she is preparing a comic with illustrator Ester Kuchynková for Ahoj divočino.
Many of the comics originally published in magazines were later released as books: MORČATA V AKCI, MEDVÍDEK LUP A JEHO KAMARÁDI, NA HRADĚ BRADĚ or VIKTORKA A VESMÍRNÁ DOBRODRUŽSTVÍ, for which she and illustrator Honza Smolík received the Golden Ribbon award for the best children's comic.
She received another Golden Ribbon for the book S KOMENSKÝM DO KOMIKSU, which contains comics created for the National Pedagogical Museum and illustrated by Lukáš Fibrich.
Comic pages are an important part of many of her books. She collaborated with Vojta Šedý on the books SPOLKLA MĚ KNIHOVNA and POZOR, V KNIHOVNĚ JE KOCOUR!, and with Kačka Illnerová on the publication NEČTU! POSLOUCHÁM. Most recently, she combined photo comics with the story of DUBÁNEK A NOČNÍ BOUŘE, photographed by Petr Václavek.
She compiled eight issues of the comic magazine BUBLIFUK. She leads comic creative workshops and has written two publications for teachers about comics JAK VYZRÁT NA KOMIKS and MLUVÍME V BUBLINÁCH.
