Comic-Con Junior General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Cancellation

Comic-Con Junior is organized by Active Radio a.s. with its No Limits team, which has organized hundreds of different events, together with Comic-Con Prague s.r.o., which is backed by the team of the non-profit association FFestivaly z.s., which organizes Festival Fantazie, PragoFFest and other pop culture festivals.

Tickets are sold by Active Radio a.s., Wenzigova 4, 12000 Prague 2, ID 61058297, further Active Radio, through the ticket seller Ticketstream. Ticketstream handles everything about tickets and its rules and conditions apply to ticket sales.

A. General Information

  1. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Cancellation (hereinafter referred to as Terms and Conditions) govern the purchase of tickets for the current Comic-Con Prague, made through the Ticketmaster Czech Republic, a.s. sales network. (hereinafter referred to as Ticketmaster), in accordance with its Terms and Conditions and Complaints Policy . By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
  2. Buying a ticket to Comic-Con Prague through Ticketmaster creates a direct legal relationship between you as the customer purchasing the ticket and Active Radio, the company selling the ticket.
  3. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to abide by the Rules of Attendance at Comic-Con Prague and Rules for attendees of the O2 universe of , where Comic-Con Prague will take place on February 18-20, 2022.
  4. As the organizer, Active Radio reserves the right to change the guests, program, date and venue. By purchasing a ticket you acknowledge this right of the organizer. Tickets remain valid in the event of such changes and cannot be returned due to such changes.
  5. Active Radio is in no way responsible for the validity and authenticity of tickets purchased outside of the Ticketmaster sales network. Always store purchased tickets in any form securely and do not display or show them anywhere. By publishing them publicly, you run the risk of misuse of the barcode and your ticket number and may not be admitted to Comic-Con Prague.

B. Purchasing Tickets

  1. Tickets are sold in traditional paper form at Ticketmaster branches or in electronic form, which is sent to customers by e-mail or customers can download and/or print this type of ticket via the public data network Internet or in electronic form via a mobile application (eTicket). In addition, tickets are sold in the form of Collector's Ticket and VIP Ticket - in the form of a plastic card. This version is mailed to the customer in two waves - before Christmas and before the event. Deadline dates for ordering are listed on the Comic-Con Prague website.
  2. Prices for individual tickets are listed on the Comic-Con Prague website, with Ticketmaster prices being the determining factor. Active Radio reserves the right to change prices.
  3. The type and number of tickets is determined by the organizer Active Radio in accordance with the capacity of O2 universum. Multiple tickets will not be sold.
  4. The ticket price consists of the Admission Fee, VAT, City of Prague 9 fee and Ticketmaster Service and Transaction Fee. If you request delivery to your designated address when purchasing a ticket via the website, Ticketmaster will also charge you for the cost of delivery (Delivery Fee). Cash on delivery tickets will not be sent.
  5. For the reason set out in section 1837(j) of the Civil Code, you cannot withdraw from the purchase of a ticket in accordance with section 1829 of the Civil Code (i.e. you cannot use the option to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason, which is otherwise available in general for other purchases over the internet), as this is a contract for the use of leisure time and the performance (attendance at the current Comic-Con Prague, which the ticket entitles you to) is provided at the specified date or time. Therefore, the law does not provide the customer with the possibility to withdraw from the contract in the manner specified in this case.
  6. Tickets for Comic-Con Prague are not intended to be traded or speculated upon. Active Radio sells tickets to persons interested in attending Comic-Con Prague, but does not wish these tickets to become the subject of secondary trade. Please note that appropriate measures may be taken to prevent unwanted ticket speculation.

C. Cancellation policy

  1. In the event of non-delivery of tickets by post, the relevant provisions of Terms and Conditions and Complaints Procedure of Ticketmaster Czech Republic a.s.
  2. apply.
  3. You cannot make any claim for any ticket to Comic-Con Prague that you have not purchased from Ticketmaster.
  4. Purchased tickets cannot be exchanged. If your ticket is damaged, destroyed, lost or stolen, it will not be replaced and no refund will be given.
  5. No refunds will be given for any Admission Fee paid or any other amounts paid in connection with the purchase of tickets to Comic-Con Prague, unless otherwise expressly stated below.
  6. In the event of cancellation of a guest's attendance at Comic-Con Prague, change of program, location or date of Comic-Con Prague, there is no right to a refund of any ticket purchase.
  7. In the event of non-compliance with the conditions for entry to the O2 universum building, there is no right to a refund for the purchase of tickets.
  8. In case of non-compliance with the conditions set by the government for admission to cultural events, there is no right to a refund for the purchase of tickets.
  9. Admission fees are not refundable due to travel restrictions or other limitations set by the governments of both countries.
  10. In the event that the location or date of Comic-Con Prague is changed, you will be notified. Tickets purchased will remain valid for the new location or date.
  11. In the event that Comic-Con Prague is cancelled completely, you will be notified. Tickets will be refunded after the time necessary for administration.
  12. Notification will be made via the Comic-Con Prague Facebook page , this website and via the contact details you provided when purchasing tickets (in particular email). We are not responsible for non-delivery or delay of cancellation notices.
  13. If Comic-Con Prague is completely cancelled, Active Radio a.s. will refund the Ticketmaster Ticket in accordance with their refund procedures for cancelled events, as set out in the Ticketmaster Czech Republic a.s. Terms and Conditions and Complaints Policy.
  14. All complaints and any questions beyond the Ticketmaster Terms and Conditions must be delivered without undue delay by electronic mail to the following e-mail address: info@comiccon.cz or in writing to Active Radio a.s., Wenzigova 4, 120 00 Prague 2.

D. Final Provisions

  1. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is invalid, the validity of the other provisions shall remain unaffected.
  2. In the event that a consumer dispute arises between Active Radio a.s. and you, as a consumer, in connection with the purchase of a ticket to Comic-Con Prague organised by Active Radio a.s. or in connection with the holding or course of Comic-Con Prague, which cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, you may submit a proposal for out-of-court settlement of such dispute to a designated consumer dispute resolution body. This is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, Central Inspectorate - ADR Department, Štěpánská 15, 120 00 Prague 2, e-mail: adr@coi.cz, website: http://adr.coi.cz . You can also use the online dispute resolution platform set up by the European Commission at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/ . The same applies if there is a consumer dispute between you and Ticketmaster.
  3. Active Radio a.s. reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions.
