Discover a world where Kašpar became a Czech children's hero and where puppeteers were the "YouTubers" of the past. Puppet theater was the "offline stream" of its day—a place of entertainment, education, and imagination—and puppet plays were content for the wooden avatars of their time. Fairy tales are not only told to lull children to sleep, but also to awaken adults. The exhibition space is available on the 1st floor from Friday at 4 p.m. throughout the CCB&J.

At the World Championships in Jesolo, Italy (October 3-13), which ended a few days ago, Czech representatives fought their way to an excellent 9th place out of 56 participating countries.

Whether it's escape rooms or other immersive games, The Chamber studio is the leader on Czech market. At CCB&J in Brno, it will present not only its mobile game, Nucleus spaceship, but also a technologically advanced sci-fi escape game in a van. It will also bring tasks from the game Kingdom Come: Experience – an epic experiential game set in Malešov fortress. At their stand, you can try out medieval mechanical puzzles based on aforementioned game.

The ticket is part of a TWO-DAY ticket to CCB&J and a Friday ticket to the Kniha Brno fair. It will take place on the Cosplay Stage in the front foyer of the main hall E1, on the 1st floor. A unique exhibition marking the 150th anniversary of the birth of Bohumil Schweigstill (1875–1964). Author of a thousand fairy tales, creator of the boy character Kašpárek, and an important figure in Czech puppetry who has been unjustly forgotten. Puppetry has deep roots in our country – from the national revival through 19th-century family theaters to the inclusion of Czech puppetry on the UNESCO list (2016).

We have already announced an exhibition of costumes from the fairy tale series Arabela. Today, we are adding a second exhibition: an exhibition of 40 original movie posters for children's and adventure films from years 1968-1995!
